Apple Launches iOS 18.2 with ChatGPT Integration, Image Generation, and Genmoji AI Features

Apple has officially rolled out the iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 updates to supported devices, focusing on AI-driven enhancements available exclusively on newer iPhone and iPad models.
This update introduces several groundbreaking features, such as the AI-powered Genmoji, ChatGPT integration, and the Image Playground for image generation. These tools allow users to create images in various styles based on text prompts, photos, or concepts.
Genmoji, an innovative custom emoji feature developed by Apple, enables users to generate Emoji-style images by simply entering a prompt.
Beyond AI, the update also enhances other functionalities. For instance, the Mail app now groups settings by default, highlighting important emails upon opening and allowing users to check promotional and less important messages through other categories in the navigation bar.
The integration of ChatGPT with Siri and writing tasks marks a significant upgrade. Siri can now fetch information from ChatGPT to provide users with more comprehensive responses. While using this feature does not require a ChatGPT account, signing up enables access to additional functionalities.
Apple Intelligence is also expanding to more regions, adding support in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK, currently limited to English.
