ChatGPT Web Version Adds History Search: Quickly Find Past Conversations
The ChatGPT web interface recently introduced a global search functionality for browsing historical conversations. This feature is particularly useful for users who have numerous active sessions on a regular basis.
With the new search capability, users can easily locate specific conversations by entering keywords, allowing for quick access to chat histories or to resume ongoing discussions.
Currently, this feature is exclusively available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, as well as users of ChatGPT Team, ChatGPT Enterprise, and ChatGPT Edu, according to OpenAI. The organization plans to gradually roll out this feature to users of the ChatGPT free version over the coming months, although a specific timeline has yet to be announced.
To access this feature, users can simply click on the magnifying glass icon at the top left corner of the ChatGPT web page and enter their search terms.
