The popular password manager Bitwarden has unlocked the power of Passkeys for iOS users, offering a seamless and secure login experience. With the latest update, Bitwarden for iOS (version 2024.4.2, released on May 4, 2024) now supports Passkey creation and authentication, revolutionizing the way users register and log into their favorite apps.

Passkeys, also known as cryptographic keys, are stored locally on the device and offer a stronger alternative to traditional passwords and two-factor authentication (2FA) codes. While using Bitwarden on iOS,users can now create and employ Passkeys for a streamlined login process.
