RYZEN MASTER cpu-tweakingNo Longer Supports RYZEN and Threadripper 1000/2000 Series Processors
In August, AMD released a new version of RYZEN MASTER, a cpu-tweaking developed by AMD for optimizing various parameters of processors to enhance CPU performance or efficiency.
This update did not attract much attention, but VideoCardz noted that starting from this new version, RYZEN MASTER has ceased support for AMD RYZEN and AMD RYZEN Threadripper 1000/2000 series processors.
To use the latest version of the tool for CPU parameter adjustments, one must now have RYZEN and RYZEN Threadripper 3000 series processors. Older processors are only supported by the previous versions.
AMD has not provided a detailed explanation for this change, but users of RYZEN MASTER will automatically download the old version when a 1000/2000 series processor is detected.
Compared to the new version, the old version will not receive the latest features, which could negatively impact some users, especially professional users who may need to manually check parameters.
Here is more information about RYZEN MASTER:
The AMD RYZEN MASTER tool is compatible with Windows 10 19H1 (Version 1903) and Windows 11 systems, and the motherboard must support overclocking capabilities.
As of the publication of this article, the version 2.14.0.3205 released by AMD in August only supports RYZEN and RYZEN Threadripper 3000 series processors.
Users of AMD RYZEN and RYZEN Threadripper 1000/2000 series processors need to use the version v2.13.1.3097 from May 2024.
Special reminder: Overclocking carries risks. Please understand the potential risks and basic operations of overclocking before using overclocking tools.
