The True God of Permanence! MAS Team Announces Successful Crack of Windows 10 ESU Paid Extension Updates
Microsoft had previously announced a paid Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for Windows 10, allowing businesses to receive up to three years of ESU security updates through payment. Individual and family users, however, would need to pay $30 per device for the first year's ESU security updates.
Windows 10 support is scheduled to end in October 2025, and unless users are on the Windows 10 LTSB/LTSC long-term support versions, they will not receive any security updates after this date.
The ESU paid extension support plan allows customers to continue receiving security updates to keep using Windows 10. For individual and family users, this means paying $30 for just one year of updates, not three as with the enterprise version.
However, similar to the post-support period for Windows 7 when developers attempted to crack the ESU mechanism to receive updates without payment, the same has been tried for Windows 10.
The cracking solution for the era of Windows 7 ESU was provided by @abbodi1406, a legend from the MDL forums, and for the Windows 10 ESU era, it has been provided by @Massgrave. MAS is currently a leading provider of activation solutions for Windows and Office, offering open-source and free services.
This message was released on Discord by WindowsAddict:
"We're excited to share significant breakthrough news from the @MASSGRAVE research and development team!
Our team has successfully cracked the license protection of nearly all Windows and Office software. With this new method, we can permanently activate almost all versions of Windows and Office, from Windows Vista to Windows 11 and Windows Server 2025, including CSVLK and ESU.
We can easily activate the Windows 10 ESU paid extension security license, ensuring continued security updates beyond October 2025.
What makes this breakthrough even more impressive is its simplicity - no need to install third-party files, no need to modify system files, and the entire process is completely clean.
This is the biggest breakthrough in the history of Windows and Office cracking. The solution will be released in the coming months, so stay tuned."
Note: CSVLK mentioned in the message refers to Custom Server Volume License Keys, a method by which Microsoft provides activation services to large enterprises.
This message has also been confirmed by the official social media account of @MASSGRAVE, so after October 2025, you can continue using Windows 10 and receive security updates. If the approach taken during the Windows 7 ESU era is followed, users should be able to receive three years of updates instead of one by impersonating an enterprise license to receive three years of free security updates.
