NVIDIA's Long-Tested NVIDIA App Officially Releases, Completely Replacing GeForce Experience
NVIDIA's GeForce Experience, a companion software prepared by NVIDIA for its graphics card users that has been around for many years, is finally set to bow out.
After a significant period of testing, the NVIDIA App has officially ended its beta phase and released its stable version, incorporating all the noteworthy features from GeForce Experience.
In the announcement, NVIDIA stated that the new version is fully prepared to replace GeForce Experience, marking the first step towards creating a single, unified application.
Eventually, the NVIDIA App will entirely replace both GeForce Experience and the NVIDIA Control Panel. This means that users will be able to configure their NVIDIA graphics cards directly through the NVIDIA App moving forward.
The NVIDIA App is equipped with a GPU Control Center, allowing users to access all settings for their GPU within a single application. This includes updating graphics card drivers, configuring NVIDIA G-SYNC monitors, utilizing AI video enhancement features through RTX Video, and discovering exclusive applications powered by NVIDIA AI.
It's important to note that GeForce Experience will not be automatically removed from systems; instead, it will be marked as deprecated, with NVIDIA no longer releasing any updates for the software.
When users download and install new driver updates, the NVIDIA App will be bundled by default (although users can opt-out). Additionally, unlike GeForce Experience, the NVIDIA App does not require a login, eliminating the need for users to register and log in with an NVIDIA account to use it.
Lastly, with the superior NVIDIA App available, users can actively choose to uninstall GeForce Experience, as there's no longer a need to keep the older companion software.
