Starlink has launched a global roaming service that connects to satellite internet worldwide
Starlink is launching a new internet service plan: a global roaming service that costs $200 per month, enabling subscribers to access the internet anywhere in the world.
In addition to the monthly fee, users also need to pay $599 for the satellite receiver, which is a one-time payment. Afterward, users can go online anytime by paying $200 per month.
Currently, the plan is still in the testing phase, and Starlink is inviting some users to participate. The service may be useful for frequent travelers, particularly shipping companies, research teams, and others who travel to remote areas.
Starlink emphasizes that it is still working to expand its satellite network, so customers may experience occasional connection problems or even a lack of connection.
In addition, Starlink notes that its services will be limited to specific countries and regions until it obtains approval from local regulatory agencies.
