iPhone SE 4 Rumored to Feature OLED Display and Single 48MP Camera, Expected Price Increase
According to a Korean-language screenshot shared by Weibo user @i冰宇宙, the upcoming fourth-generation iPhone SE, set to launch in spring next year, will boast a larger display and switch to an OLED screen.
With significant upgrades in specifications, the iPhone SE 4 naturally comes with a price increase, setting it above the retail price range of its predecessors, the iPhone SE 1 to 3.

Rumored Specifications of iPhone SE 4:
- Display: 6.06-inch OLED screen with a notch
- Screen Refresh Rate: 60Hz
- Chipset: A18
- Memory: 6GB or 8GB
- Rear Camera: Single 48MP lens
- Body: Aluminum frame
- Biometrics: FaceID
- Port: USB-C
- Price: Estimated between 499 and549
The overall design of the iPhone SE 4 is expected to mirror the iPhone 14, featuring sharper lines as opposed to rounded edges. Furthermore, the transition to a full-screen design eliminates the Home button and TouchID fingerprint sensor in favor of FaceID.
Comparing hardware configurations, the iPhone SE 4 shows substantial improvements. For instance, the iPhone SE 3 featured a 4.7-inch display, A15 chip, 12MP camera, and was priced at $429 for the 64GB model.
If the iPhone SE 4 upgrades follow through as rumored, it represents a compelling option for those in the market for a new phone, albeit at a higher price point. Opting for models with greater storage capacity will further increase the cost.
