Microsoft launches Microsoft Copilot bot on Telegram platform that can ask 30 questions a day
Microsoft has once again proven its leadership in the field of AI applications not only by incorporating AI into their software and services but also by offering AI capabilities on open platforms to attract a wider user base.
Recently, Microsoft launched the Microsoft Copilot bot on Telegram, a popular instant messaging platform, providing users with the ability to ask questions anytime by simply following the bot.
As is customary, this bot comes with a quota: after verifying their Telegram-linked mobile number and agreeing to the terms of use, users can ask up to 30 questions per day.
Due to regional restrictions for Microsoft Copilot, users must agree to verify their mobile number linked with Telegram. Microsoft uses this verification to confirm the user's region, allowing access as long as the user is not in a restricted area, without the need to receive a verification code.
In terms of functionality, the Telegram version of Microsoft Copilot is virtually identical to its web version or the one built into Windows 11. Users can activate the service by searching @CopilotOfficialBot in the Telegram search bar.
Interestingly, there was a minor hiccup: Microsoft's official page mistakenly linked Copilot for Telegram to https://t.me/Copilot (which was a private user and not the bot), while the actual bot is found at https://t.me/CopilotOfficialBot. Initially, this led to the user of @Copilot receiving a flurry of messages from people mistaking it for the bot, highlighting the importance of accuracy in such releases.
