Users attempting to upgrade to ChatGPT Plus were met with the message: “Due to high demand, we’ve temporarily paused upgrades.” However, according to user feedback, ChatGPT Plus subscriptions have now been reopened. It is important to note that the ability to register and purchase subscriptions may still be temporary, as server capacity issues might lead to further suspensions.
For those interested in upgrading to ChatGPT Plus, now might be a good time to try. The subscription costs $20 per month. To avoid issues with payment platforms’ risk control measures, it is recommended that users ensure consistency between their IP address and billing address during the upgrade process. Otherwise, they may face rejection.
Additionally, some IP addresses might be rejected by payment platforms due to their unclean nature. Users will need to find their own solutions to this issue.
Please note that if you are subscribing to ChatGPT Plus specifically for GPT-4 access, the service currently allows only 25 questions every 3 hours (down from the previous 100 questions every 4 hours) due to high server loads.
