Elon Musk has recently decided to raise the subscription price for X Premium+ again. Effective from December 22, 2024, the new subscription rate for X Premium+ will increase from $to$22 per month. Current subscribers will be charged the new rate at their next renewal cycle.

X stated that the reason for the price hike is to provide better services to its users. However, this increase only affects X Premium+ subscribers, with the prices for other subscription tiers remaining unchanged for the time being.

Currently, X offers three main subscription tiers:

• X Premium+: Increases from $to$22 per month
• X Premium: $8 per month
• X Basic: $3 per month

Among these, X Premium+ allows for an ad-free timeline and post replies. X Premium reduces the number of ads by half, while X Basic offers certain basic features.

For users, the price of X Premium+ might seem quite steep at $22 per month—nearly triple that of X Premium—especially when the primary difference is just the absence of timeline ads.
