Defying Nintendo's Legal Threats: Ryujinx Emulator v1.2.72 Unleashed
Despite Nintendo's aggressive legal actions against several Nintendo Switch emulator projects—sending cease and desist letters and even filing lawsuits demanding immediate project shutdowns, removals, and financial compensation—the Ryujinx project has made a bold return.
Originally abandoned on October 1, 2024, due to Nintendo's legal intimidation, a forked version of Ryujinx quickly resurfaced. This new iteration, still bearing the name Ryujinx, promises ongoing updates.
This revival is neither a direct continuation of the original project nor associated with the Phoenix project. Yet, it maintains its commitment to providing software updates, ensuring that users can continue enjoying the Ryujinx emulator experience.
The latest release, Ryujinx v1.2.72, boasts 17 new commits. Highlights include the addition of DebugMouse Hid support and a fix for the index out-of-bounds error in GetCoefficientAtIndex.
The emulator supports Windows x64, Linux x64, Linux Arm64, and macOS, catering to a diverse user base. Interested users are encouraged to visit GitHub to download the latest version.
