Apple Music and Apple TV+ Experience Outages Since Noon and Have Yet to Recover
Apple Music has encountered another service interruption, previously caused by Apple's oversight in renewing a TLS digital certificate which prevented users from playing songs normally. However, this time the issue is not related to the certificate, and the duration of the outage has been longer.
The Apple Status page indicates that since November 12, 2024, 11:42 AM (UTC+8), both Apple Music and Apple TV+ have experienced service disruptions, with Apple not disclosing the specific reasons for the outage.
At the time of publishing this article, tests conducted by Landian.news have shown that the services have not returned to normal. In Apple Music, attempting to play songs that have not been downloaded or cached results in perpetual loading or a message stating the item you are trying to purchase is no longer available.
Similarly, Apple TV+ is unable to load normally on both iPhone and Apple TV devices. Feedback on Downdetector suggests that this outage has affected users globally.
