Microsoft is about to release the Windows 11 Build 22624.1390 (Moment 3) update.
Currently, Microsoft's update codes and various versions on Windows 11 are very complicated. In addition to the codes we see on a daily basis, such as 21H2 and 22H2, each version also has a Sun Valley code (SV1, SV2) and the so-called Moment updates.
Sun Valley 2, or SV2, Moment 1 and 2 updates have already been released, and the next one to be released is the SV2 Moment 3 update. So when will it be released? Very soon.
According to a post by a user on the forum "PCBeta," the Moment 3 update is Windows 11 Build 22624.x, which will be pushed first to the Windows Insider Beta Channel. The first version will be 22624.1390 CU KB5023011 ni_release_svc_betaflt_prod1, and Moment 3 is still marked as 22H2 version.
The major version update to be released this fall will be Windows 11 23H2, but the specific version number is not yet clear. The new version code is "Zn" and it is estimated that it will soon be tested in the Windows Insider Dev Channel.
As for new features, there isn't much to look forward to, as all new features are currently being tested in the development channel. So, by May or June, the Windows 11 23H2 RTM version should be finalized.
