Microsoft Retracts Windows 11 Dev Build 23526 ISO File – Unknow
Microsoft launched a new version for Canary channel users yesterday, and today it was expected to release the Windows 11 Dev Build 23526 version, along with an ISO image file.
Typically, providing an ISO image file signifies that the Windows development team believes in the stability of the version, hence the packaging of the image. However, evidently, something went wrong with this week's developer version.
The image file was removed just minutes after being made available, and Microsoft's official blog did not update any news on Build 23526. This likely indicates that a severe issue was discovered shortly after release, necessitating the retraction.
It's noteworthy that all versions in the Windows Insider Dev channel are also due to expire next month. Build 23526 was likely meant to update the expiration time. Since it has been retracted and if Microsoft does not release a new version tomorrow, the update may have to wait until next week.
